The hidden side of the Matrix: The Maldives

According to Wikipaedia, “Tourism is the largest economic industry in the Maldives, as it plays an important role in earning foreign exchange revenues and generating employment in the tertiary sector of the country. The archipelago of the Maldives is the main source of attraction to many tourists visiting the country worldwide.”

Fishing, too, is an important source of income for the area, as noted in Wikipaedia:  “For many centuries the Maldivian economy was entirely dependent on fishing and other marineproducts. Fishing remains the main occupation of the people and the government gives priority to the fisheries sector.”
